Błażej Thomas provides UK National Contact Point support for the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), which strengthens Europe’s ability to innovate by powering solutions to pressing global challenges and by nurturing entrepreneurial talent to create sustainable growth and skilled jobs in Europe.
Błażej has been supporting applicants to Horizon 2020 and later Horizon Europe for more than a decade, starting his career as Senior European Advisor in the UK Research Office (UKRO) in Brussels and later serving as UK National Contact Point for Legal and Financial Matters (Academia) before joining Innovate UK as UK National Contact Point for the EIT.
In his current role, Błażej supports applicants from all sectors to calls for proposals launched by the existing nine EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) and the EIT itself.
