Claire Griffin provides UK National Contact Point support for the European Innovation Council (EIC) and European Innovation Ecosystems (EIE). These areas support high-potential innovation, business growth, emerging technologies and stronger innovation ecosystems.
She has served as a National Contact Point (NCP) for the past decade and has been involved in the European Framework Programmes for more than 25 years, beginning her journey as a Research Fellow working within FP5. With over 30 years of experience in technology management, Claire has developed extensive expertise in research, innovation, and commercialisation across both the UK and Europe.
In her current role, Claire works closely with the investor community throughout Europe and the UK, building connections that help innovative companies access the support and investment needed to grow. Drawing on her wealth of experience across research, innovation, and business development, she supports the commercialisation of cutting-edge research and helps SMEs scale successfully, bringing breakthrough technologies and innovations to market.
