Pawel Puczkarski provides Horizon Europe National Contact Point support in the UK in the area of Research Infrastructures. This area covers a wide range of facilities in fields such as digital, energy, environment, health and food, physical sciences and engineering, social sciences and humanities.
Research Infrastructures programme in Horizon Europe aims at consolidating infrastructures landscape and coordinating research infrastructures-related strategy. Infrastructure users benefit from streamlined access to the facilities, programmes dedicated to development of new technologies and training and upskilling of staff at research infrastructures.
Before starting in his role as NCP, Pawel was involved in promoting international research partnerships and scientific entrepreneurship, having worked with EU and international partners from academic, industry and policy backgrounds. With his research background in fields such as quantum electronics and biosensing, Pawel brings his in-depth understanding of the research context.
