Melanie Maxwell is the UK NCP for Horizon Europe Cluster 3 – Civil Security for Society. Before joining Innovate UK in November 2025, she spent more than 28 years working in international development, specialising in proposal development, consortium building and the delivery of EU and UK funded projects in the civil security space.
As an NCP, Melanie’s role is to help UK organisations navigate the complexities of Horizon Europe and make the most of the opportunities it offers.
