Module 1 covers the lifecycle of EU Framework Programmes and their budget giving you the opportunity to learn more about how Horizon Europe works in practice. During the session, you will learn how EU policies influence the calls for proposals included in the biannual Work Programmes and how the annual budget of the EU determines how much funding is available for new projects in any given year.

This session will also include information on how EU Framework Programmes can be influenced at the various stages of their lifecycle together with early information on the Commission’s plans for establishing the successor to Horizon Europe – Framework Programme 10.
